FAQ
Questions people actually ask
Which house system should I choose?
Placidus is the mainstream default most apps show; whole-sign is older and behaves better near the poles. We default to Placidus, let you switch anytime, and show exactly what changes.
Why does birth time matter so much?
The Ascendant and the houses rotate through the whole zodiac once a day: about a degree every four minutes. Planets barely move in a day, but which house they land in depends entirely on the time.
What if I don't know my birth time?
Tick “I don't know my birth time” and we compute everything that doesn't depend on it (planets in signs, aspects, dominants) and skip houses and rising instead of silently assuming noon. If the Moon changes signs that day, we show the range.
Are the positions actually accurate?
Positions come from a Swiss-ephemeris engine (the same data source professional software uses), with historical time zones and DST applied. Every result shows the exact degrees, the applied UTC offset and the engine version, so you can verify any line against any reference.
