Questions people actually ask
What is a transit?
A transit is where a planet is in the sky right now, compared to where the planets were when you were born. When a moving planet forms an exact angle (an aspect) to a point in your birth chart, astrology reads it as a theme that’s active for a while. We show the angles, orbs and exact dates.
Are some transits bad?
We don’t label transits good or bad. Some are dynamic (squares, oppositions: a working tension), some supportive (trines, sextiles: an easier flow), some focal (conjunctions: front and centre). A tight orb means a transit is loud, not dangerous.
Why is the Moon shown separately?
The Moon moves about 13° a day, so its transits shift within hours. We keep them in a “background of the day” section so the fast, fleeting contacts don’t drown out the slower planets, whose transits last weeks to years and matter more.
What does the exact date mean?
It’s the day the transit is geometrically exact (orb 0°). Because planets turn retrograde, a slow transit can be exact two or three times over several months. We list every pass, so “when will this ease off” has a real answer.
