How we build this base

An independent compilation

Facts like a date and a place aren’t owned by anyone, but copying another site’s database is a different matter. So we compile independently from ordinary public sources: encyclopedias, biographies, interviews, official registries where they’re public. We deliberately do not use astrology databases as a reference, so the independence of this base can be verified.

Dates and places come from public reference data. Birth times, the hard part, are curated by hand, each with a documented source, and never invented.

How sure we are: the birth-time scale

Every figure carries a data-confidence rating for its birth time. It’s shown on the page in plain language.

• S1Documented. Birth time from a primary record: a birth certificate, hospital or church register, or official registry.
• S2First-hand. Birth time stated publicly by the person or their immediate family: an interview, an autobiography, a verified account.
• S3Biographical. Birth time from a biography or the press, without a cited document or first-hand origin.
• S4Conflicting. Sources give different times. We publish the best-supported one and flag the conflict.
• S5Time unknown. No reliable birth time. We compute a partial chart (no houses, no Ascendant, and the Moon shown as a range) rather than guess.

When the time is unknown (S5) we still show a chart: the planets in their signs are certain even without a time; only the houses and Ascendant depend on it.

Corrections & removals

We publish only established public figures and only birth facts that are already public. Interpretations describe the chart, not the person. If you spot an error, or you’re the person and want your page removed, the report link on every figure page reaches us, and we act on verified requests.
