THE THESIS
The chart wheel is a round map: a ring of twelve signs, the planets dotted around it, and lines linking them. You learn to read it, one layer at a time.
The explanation
Picture a circle divided into twelve equal slices. The outer ring holds the zodiac signs, always in the same order, like the numbers on a clock face. Inside it sit the planets, each dropped at the spot it occupied when you were born. The lines crossing the middle — astrologers call them aspects — mark planets that sit at notable angles to each other, hinting at how those parts of a chart talk. None of it is a verdict. In the astrological tradition, the wheel is a map you slowly learn to read: signs, then planets, then the conversations between them. Take it one layer at a time, and the picture opens up at your own pace.
