THE THESIS
Where a planet sits is astronomy — plain, checkable fact; what that placement means is tradition, layered on by astrologers. Holding the two apart is the honest way to read a chart.
The explanation
Here's the honest split at the heart of this tool. A planet's position in your chart is astronomy: it comes from the same calculations that predict eclipses, and anyone with the tables can check it. That part is fact. What a placement means — bold Mars, dreamy Neptune, a Moon in this sign or that — is interpretation the astrological tradition has attached over centuries. It's culture and craft, not a law of nature and not a forecast. Keeping those two layers separate protects you: you can enjoy the meaning as a lens for reflection while remembering it isn't fate. Take what rings true, set the rest aside, and stay the one who decides.
