In Human Design, gate 27 lives in the Sacral centre and holds the energy of caring: the wish to feed, protect and support those you feel responsible for. In the channel with gate 50 caring joins values and becomes the theme of preserving what is dear. As a personality activation this registers as a deliberate choice to look after people; in the design it is a hand that reaches out to help on its own. The tradition adds two caveats: caring has recipients it genuinely serves, and it has a limit beyond which it drains the one giving it.
