In the astrological tradition, a conjunction is two points sitting at nearly the same spot in the chart — about 0° apart. Their meanings fuse: the two parts act as one, amplifying and coloring each other. It's usually read as the most concentrated aspect — not good or bad in itself, but intense, and shaped entirely by which two points are involved.
